  • Irish Flexible Packaging and Fispak: Co-investment including Eamon Farrell and Barry O’Brien, generating a 3.5-times return within two years.

  • Packaging Holdings: Led by Barry O'Brien and Eamon Farrell, raised €40m in debt and equity to acquire 10 SME packaging businesses to create a €60m p/a group.

  • ACEL Energy: Investment into a start-up by Paul McKenna and Barry O’Brien, generating a ten-times return following the company’s sale within four years.

  • General Accident Insurance: Investment by David Staples and Barry O’Brien in partnership with the PLC General Accident Insurance to launch in a new market.

  • SCG Growth Partners: Co-investment by Barry O’Brien and Gregory Rose in a high-potential financial-services software company.

  • Williams Renewable Energy: Development and financing of commercial solar PV projects through five successful award wiining issuances of certified green bonds beginning with initial $40m issuance in 2019.

  • Tay Lane Properties: Commercial property-development investment in West Dublin by Paul Murphy, Barry O’Brien and Eamon Farrell.

  • Argo Development Studio: Award winning architectural firm, founded and funded by David Campion, with GIG members providing strategic support at board level.

  • Williams Caribbean Capital: An investment company co-founded by Barry O’Brien and chaired by David Staples, focused on renewable energy and private investment opportunities in the Caribbean.

  • Green Energy Park: An investment by David Staples and Barry O'Brien into a planned US$150m biomass and waste to energy plant in Barbados.

  • VIP Attractions: Investment by David Staples and Barry O’Brien, through Williams Caribbean Capital, into a leading Jamaican tourism and airport-services business.

GIG members invest their own capital across a range of carefully selected opportunities. Investments may be undertaken individually, alongside fellow GIG members, via co-owned investment companies or through GIG members individual investment companies.​
