Barry is Jamaica’s diplomatic representative in Ireland as Honorary Consul from Jamaica to Ireland.
In the Caribbean, Barry is the co-founder and CEO of Williams Caribbean Capital, an impact investment business which issues certified green bonds to fund PV Solar projects. He is the co-founder and Chairman of the Caribbean fintech company SCG Growth Partners. He is a Board Director and co-owner of VIP Attractions which owns airport lounges and tourist magazines. Additionally, Barry is co-founder and co-owner of BCDL, a venture partner of the PLC, General Accident Insurance in the Eastern Caribbean.
In Ireland, Barry is Chairman and co-founder of IFP Investment Limited, a privately-owned and funded investment business. He is co-owner and director of Acel Energy, a renewable energy business in Ireland specializing in co-owned commercial PV Solar. Barry is Chairman of Argo Development, an international, architectural firm based in Ireland, the Caribbean and New York which specializing in digital and climate intelligence design.
In the UK and Ireland, Barry is the co-founder and Director of the 300-person, Packaging Holdings, a group of eight UK and three Ireland sustainable packaging businesses.
In the US, Barry is a Director and investor into Hammock Greens, a Miami headquartered urban farm that applies cutting edge technology with hydroponics for vertical farming. Additionally, Barry is a consultant on M&A for Europe for the US headquartered multinational packaging business, ProAmpac.
Barry is the former CEO of Digicel Jamaica and Eastern Caribbean and former CEO of TheNowFactory. Barry has a degree in Electrical Engineering for University College Cork, a diploma in business administration from the College of Ireland and a diploma in Board Directorship from the Institute of Directors of the UK and Ireland.
